100 Things

I’ve tried any number of lists, things designed to have me reach a goal or goals in 41, 365, 1001 days. Lists I’ve ultimately forgotten about and failed, because I’m really quite bad at deadlines. Well, here’s a deadline you can hardly avoid — YOUR WHOLE LIFE.

Some of these goals are gonna have to be a lot grander than before.

    Travel

  1. Roadtrip Route 66
  2. Stay at both remaining teepee motels in the US (California and Kentucky)
  3. Visit Italy
  4. Visit Greece
  5. Revisit France
  6. Visit Germany
  7. Visit Niagara Falls
  8. Travel to all of the Canadian Provinces (NFLD, PEI, NS, NB, QC, ON, MAN, SK, AB, BC) and Territories (YT, NWT, NVT) I have yet to see
  9. Take my own family on a road trip to Florida like we took when I was a child
  10. Visit Portland, Oregon
  11. Visit Spain
  12. Visit my hometown
  13. Revisit Westport, Ireland
  14. Revisit New Orleans
  15. Stay at the Shady Dell in Bisbee, Arizona
  16. Visit every Margaritaville with my sister (Beachcomber Hawaii, Mohegan Sun Casino, Key West, Las Vegas, Glendale AZ, Myrtle Beach, NOLA, Panama City Beach, Orlando, at least one Caribbean location, Niagara Falls, Cancun, Nashville)
  17. See the neon light graveyard in Vegas
  18. Get in the car with our ID and $1,000 and just drive for a week
  19. Cross the Equator
  20. Visit every UNESCO World Heritage Site in Canada (Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, Historic District of Old Québec, L’Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site, Old Town Lunenburg, Rideau Canal, SGang Gwaay, Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks, Dinosaur Provincial Park, Gros Morne National Park, Joggins Fossil Cliffs, Kluane / Wrangell-St Elias / Glacier Bay / Tatshenshini-Alsek, Miguasha National Park, Nahanni National Park, Waterton Glacier International Peace Park, Wood Buffalo National Park
